Ni no Kuni

Yuu, Haru, and Kotona are close friends living an ordinary high school life—until a strange assailant attacks Kotona. As Yuu and Haru rush her to the hospital, a near collision with a truck should spell disaster, yet the two emerge unscathed in a completely different place: a storybook kingdom filled with unfamiliar peoples and remarkable creatures.

In this new world, Yuu—who has used a wheelchair since childhood—can suddenly walk again, but there’s no time to dwell on the mystery when Kotona is nowhere to be found. Searching for clues, the boys question locals at a tavern and come across an image of Princess Asha, triggering an unsettling realization that ties their situation to the kingdom itself.

Ni no Kuni follows their journey through a magical realm while tracing the link between two parallel worlds and the bonds that connect the people within them.
