Napping Princess

Kokone Morikawa is an ordinary high schooler trying to focus on university entrance exams—except she’s plagued by an unusual tendency to fall asleep, slipping into dreams so vivid they begin to blur with waking life. In that other world, she lives as a princess in Heartland, a machine-run future where artificial intelligence is strictly forbidden.

As Kokone navigates this dreamlike realm, she starts uncovering pieces of her family’s history and a truth her gifted mechanic father has long kept hidden. With the boundaries between dream and reality growing thinner, she’s drawn into a struggle to keep that secret safe from threatening forces that exist on both sides.
