Set in a spacefaring sci‑fi world, it follows ARKS trainees as they face escalating threats tied to the appearance of hostile organisms known as Darkers.

During a qualification exam on planet Naberius, the player and fellow trainee Afin are attacked by Darkers and soon encounter a mysterious girl who has lost most of her memories, drawing them into the truth behind Naberius and a sudden surge in Darker activity. As the player and Matoi dig deeper, their search points toward a shadowy conspiracy surrounding ARKS itself—its origins and its true purpose.

The discovery of planet Harukotan opens a new mission when fragile peace between the Shironian and the Kuronites collapses after an unexpected Kuronite assault. With a newly reorganized ARKS sent to investigate, the conflict hints at a far more unsettling reality than anyone anticipated.
