Her Blue Sky

After losing their parents in a tragic accident 13 years earlier, high schooler Aoi Aioi has been raised by her older sister, Akane. Grateful yet burdened by how much Akane has sacrificed, Aoi plans to head to Tokyo after graduation—both to ease her sister’s load and to chase a future in music, a dream sparked by Akane’s former boyfriend, Shinnosuke “Shinno” Kanamuro. Shinno once played in a band before leaving for Tokyo to become a professional guitarist, then vanished from their lives.

While practicing bass in a guest house one afternoon, Aoi is suddenly confronted by an impossible visitor: Shinno as an 18-year-old from 13 years ago. Soon after, the present-day Shinno—now 31—returns to town as well, markedly changed. With two versions of the same man now crossing paths with Aoi and Akane, Sora no Aosa wo Shiru Hito yo follows their tangled emotions and the choices that will shape what comes next.
