Spare Me, Great Lord!

Lü Shu may look like a sickly teenager, but he’s held together by sheer determination. Orphaned at a young age, he earns his own way while caring for his adoptive sister, Lü Xiaoyu, and trying to keep up at an elite high school. That fragile routine is upended after a car accident triggers dormant cultivation powers—restoring his health and pulling him into a world he barely understands.

With cultivation still wrapped in secrecy and danger, Lü Shu chooses discretion, keeping his abilities hidden even as Tian Luo Di Wang, an international organization that tracks cultivators, begins moving in earnest. Spurred on by member Xi Fei, a special training program is formed at Lü Shu’s school, and he’s compelled to take part. The challenge isn’t just surviving the program—it’s concealing a particularly unsettling strength: his cultivation is fueled by the negative emotions he provokes in others.
