Visual Prison

Vampires have lived for centuries beneath the authority of the Scarlet Moon, and once a year they gather for Visual Prison, a visual kei showdown where the singer who delivers the most beautiful song is granted immense power. Two factions dominate the stage: ECLIPSE, the reigning champions representing the established order, and LOST EDEN, a group convinced that only the strongest deserve to rule.

Ange Yuki, a lonely boy uncertain of his own voice, moves to Harajuku hoping to find the musician he idolizes. He’s soon swept into the clash of live performances between ECLIPSE and LOST EDEN, and the intensity of the music awakens a bloodlust that leaves him collapsing mid-encounter. When he wakes, he’s being looked after by Guiltia “Guil” Brion—his admired artist—and learns the truth: Ange is a dhampir, half human and half vampire.

With eligibility to enter the next Visual Prison, Ange faces the challenge of stepping into the competition without Guil at his side. As the event draws closer, he meets Robin Laffite, an English newcomer captivated by Ange’s remarkable singing, and must form a unit in time to take on the coming battle of the stage.
