Versatile Mage Season 5

Mo Fan is believed to have died, but whispers that he’s still alive send his childhood friend Zhang Xiaohou on a search. The reunion pulls Mo Fan back into danger as he recruits Zhang Xiaohou and Li Man to hunt a massive lizard, hoping its soul can help counter the backlash of his devil powers.

After returning to human form, Mo Fan spends time in Song City with his stepsister Ye Xinxia and encounters a colossal snake rising above the skyline. Seeking answers, he turns to his teacher Tang Yue, who brings him to her island home and reveals her connection to the creature. Mo Fan agrees to help guard the snake, tempted by the value of its shed skin.

Trouble escalates when the White Eagle demon strikes the Western fortress and a plague creeps from Bai City toward Song City. As suspicion lands on the giant snake, Mo Fan sets out to clear it of blame by uncovering the real cause of the outbreak—and finding a cure before it’s too late.
