Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer

College student Yuuhi Amamiya’s dull routine is shattered when Sir Noi Crezant, a talking lizard, appears and declares him the newly chosen Lizard Knight. Crezant warns that the mage Animus plans to wipe out the planet using the Biscuit Hammer—an immense construct hanging in Earth’s orbit—forcing Yuuhi into a battle alongside other Beast Knights to protect a princess and stop the coming catastrophe.

Yuuhi initially brushes off the idea of heroics, until one of Animus’ golems attacks and easily overwhelms him. He’s saved by his neighbor, Princess Samidare Asahina, whose true wish is the opposite of what Crezant promised: she intends to destroy the world herself. Drawn to her unwavering resolve, Yuuhi commits to growing stronger and fighting at her side, even as the conflict with Animus escalates and his own lingering trauma threatens to hold him back.
