Synopsis
Mismanagement, disease, and famine push the once-flourishing Tearmoon Empire into collapse, sparking a popular uprising backed by neighboring powers. The fallout is brutal for Mia Luna Tearmoon: the infamously pampered princess is thrown into prison for three years and ultimately led to the guillotine.
Then Mia awakens in the past—back in her 12-year-old body—with every memory of her downfall intact. Desperate to sidestep the future that ended at the execution block, she throws herself into changing the empire’s course and securing allies for her own survival. Her self-preserving efforts unexpectedly transform her public image, and the girl once scorned begins to be hailed as a saint.
