Nodame Cantabile Finale

Shinichi Chiaki’s reputation rises as he takes the podium as principal conductor of the newly reinvigorated Roux-Marlet Orchestra, while Megumi “Nodame” Noda continues to grow as a pianist at the Conservatoire de Paris. Their relationship strains when Nodame starts to feel overshadowed by Chiaki’s accelerating success—especially as he spends time with Rui Son, a celebrated piano prodigy. Against the guidance of her teacher, Professor Charles Auclair, Nodame throws herself into another piano competition, determined to push her own career forward.

Around them, friends and rivals face turning points of their own. Rui grapples with uncertainty after hearing Nodame perform and failing to secure Auclair’s mentorship, and Maestro Franz von Stresemann confronts the limits of time. Pianists Yunlong Li and Tatiana Vishneva prepare intensely for competition, as Tatiana also wrestles with her feelings for fellow student and oboist Yasunori Kuroki. As their paths continue to diverge and converge, each must hold on to personal conviction while remembering the beginnings that shaped them.
