Seiso Academy divides its students into two distinct tracks: General Studies in grey uniforms and Music Studies in crisp white. Kahoko Hino belongs to the General Studies program—until a hurried morning brings an unexpected encounter with Lili, a tiny fairy searching for someone who can see her.

When the school announces the entrants for a campus-wide music competition, the list is filled with Music Studies students as expected—except for Kahoko’s name. Seeking answers, she finds Lili again and receives a magical violin, along with encouragement to compete despite her lack of formal training.
