Phoron Tatara is no ordinary musician. He’s one of the rare Dantists—performers who can use Commandia, a form of music that summons elder spirits. His ability is powerful enough to draw the attention of Corticarte Apa Lagranges, his contracted spirit partner, whose human appearance belies a fearsome reputation and titles like “The Crimson Annihilator” and “The Bloody Duchess.”

At the request of the Tsuge Divine Music Player Office, Phoron and Corticarte set out across the continent of Polyphonica aboard Phoron’s distinctive motorcycle-and-organ. Moving from place to place, the pair lend their talents where they’re needed, using music and spirit power to help others while their unusual partnership continues to take shape.
