9: Ruler's Crown

High school student Kakeru Niimi finds himself in the midst of chaos while volunteering at an anime convention to showcase his hometown. When a sudden earthquake strikes, he inadvertently stumbles into a shrine, where a mysterious relic unexpectedly shatters. The following day, his classmate Miyako Kujou, who had been cosplaying at the event, fears she has fallen victim to a curse linked to the seismic event, but Kakeru dismisses her concerns as mere superstition.

As unusual occurrences escalate in the city, Kakeru soon realizes that several individuals have manifested extraordinary powers, some of which are being exploited for malicious ends. Teaming up with Miyako, his sister Sora, and the enigmatic Noa Yuuki—who also discovers her own abilities—Kakeru must navigate this newfound reality. Together, they strive to protect their community from potential threats while uncovering the secrets that bind their fates to the enigmatic relic and the powers it has unleashed.
