Bad Girl

First-year student Yuu Yuutani has spent her life as the definition of well-behaved—following rules, helping at home, and quietly blending into the background. She admires Atori Mizutori, an upperclassman who serves as the school’s Public Decency Officer, and longs for Atori to notice her. Convinced that going “bad” is the fastest way to stand out, Yuu gives herself a delinquent makeover: bright red streaks in her hair, ear clips meant to pass as piercings, and oversized erasers strapped to her shoes to fake thicker soles.

Even with guidance from her “born delinquent” friend Suzu Suzukaze, Yuu’s attempts to act tough never go as planned. Still, she manages to grow closer to Atori and vows to spend as much time with her as possible—unaware that others are also competing for Atori’s attention. Along the way, Yuu also catches the eye of Rura Ruriha, the school’s self-proclaimed idol, turning her once-overlooked days into something far busier than she expected.
