Meiko Morita leaves her quaint rural hometown for the vibrant streets of Tokyo, eager to start her journey at the esteemed Amamiya Girls' Academy. However, her expectations of a glamorous dormitory life quickly dissolve when she discovers that her new residence is actually a manga café, where the residents balance their studies with the responsibilities of running the business through community service.

Despite her struggles with modern technology, Meiko finds a warm welcome among her eclectic housemates: Rie Amamiya, the charismatic leader of the dormitory; Marika Suzuki, a popular online personality; and Neo Nakano, an ambitious gamer.
