Synopsis

In a secluded village, twins are born under an omen of day and night. Years later, Yuru lives as a hunter, while his sister Asa is kept confined, tasked with a mysterious duty that limits her contact to only a chosen few.

That fragile routine shatters when armed men arrive by helicopter—machines the villagers call “dragons”—and massacre the adults while demanding Yuru. Racing to reach Asa and escape, Yuru instead finds a corpse, and the killer insists she is his real twin sister.

Yuru is pulled from capture by Ryuu “Dera” Tadera, an outsider who often comes to the village, but their flight is short-lived. With no other option, Dera has Yuru offer a gift to the village’s deity, calling forth a pair of daemons whose appearance may finally expose what’s truly happening behind the bloodshed.
