Synopsis

In ancient times, demonlike beings called Oni ravaged humanity for sport, until a lone warrior named Momotarou rose to resist them—sparking a conflict that would echo far beyond his era.

Millennia later, hotheaded gun lover Shiki Ichinose is living without much concern for the future, until being kicked out of school sets off a chain of violent events. When an assailant comes for him, Shiki is saved by his adoptive father, Tsuyoshi, who reveals a hidden truth: Shiki carries Oni blood, while Tsuyoshi and their pursuer belong to the Momotarou line. Their confrontation ends in tragedy, awakening Shiki’s immense Oni power along with a dangerous loss of control. As the attacker slips away, Naito Mudano—an Oni instructor at Rasetsu Academy—steps in, offering Shiki a path to master his bloodline and pursue revenge.
