JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (OVA)

Kujo Jotaro seems like an ordinary, well-liked Japanese high schooler—until he becomes convinced a spirit has taken hold of him and has himself confined in jail. When his grandfather Joseph Joestar arrives with Joseph’s ally Muhammad Abdul, Jotaro is forced into a confrontation that reveals the truth: the “spirit” is Star Platinum, a Stand—his fighting energy given tangible form.

The situation turns urgent when Jotaro’s mother awakens a Stand of her own and falls gravely ill. The cause traces back to Dio Brando, a vampire resurrected a century after his defeat by Jonathan Joestar, Jotaro’s great-great-grandfather. With Joseph and Abdul, Jotaro sets out on a dangerous journey to Egypt to end Dio’s threat for good.
