Synopsis

Kujo Jotaro, a well-liked Japanese high schooler, suddenly becomes convinced he’s been possessed and has himself locked up in jail. When his grandfather Joseph Joestar arrives with Joseph’s ally Muhammad Avdol, Jotaro is forced into a confrontation that reveals the truth: the “spirit” is Star Platinum, a Stand—his fighting energy given a semi-solid form.

The situation turns urgent when Jotaro’s mother awakens a Stand of her own and falls gravely ill. The cause traces back to Dio Brando, a vampire revived a century after his defeat by Jonathan Joestar, Jotaro’s great-great-grandfather. With time running out, Jotaro sets off with Joseph and Avdol on a journey to Egypt to put an end to Dio once and for all.
