Picking up after the first season, Tomoharu is forced into an impossible choice: without forming a contract with an “akuma,” he may lose his close friend Takatsuki. Yet agreeing to the contract comes with a steep cost—his own existence—and would also draw him and his ghostly companion Misao toward becoming an Asura Cryin’, a being the school’s presidents label as humanity’s greatest threat.

As the pressure mounts, Tomoharu and Misao begin to regain fragments of their past, recalling memories tied to a world they never knew existed. Caught between loyalty, survival, and unsettling revelations, Tomoharu must decide what he’s willing to sacrifice.
