Haiyoru! Nyaruani

*Haiyoru! Nyaruani* is a set of animated Flash shorts spun off from the light novel *Haiyore! Nyaruko-san*, leaning into sci-fi parody and rapid-fire comedy. Nyarlko—an anthropomorphized, female take on Nyarlathotep from the Cthulhu Mythos—barrels through one absurd idea after another, only to be sharply reined in by Mahiro, an ordinary human boy who’s perpetually fed up with her antics.

One vignette has Nyarlko sketching a body pillow cover design that features a half-dressed Mahiro in a suggestive scene with her; Mahiro responds by stabbing her hand with a fork and warning her not to release it. Other shorts keep the gag-driven pace, and some bring in Cthuko, an anthropomorphized version of Cthugha who’s intensely devoted to Nyarlko.
