Candidate for Goddesses

In a distant future where humanity has ventured beyond Earth and established colonies on various planets, a formidable alien race known as the Victim threatens to annihilate the last stronghold of humanity, the planet Zion. To counter this existential threat, a specialized training institution called GOA is established, aimed at preparing young boys from Zion's colonies to become pilots of the Ingrids—powerful combat mechs referred to as Goddesses. Each candidate must possess a unique blood type, EO, along with a special ability known as EX, making the selection process both rigorous and exclusive.

Among the hopefuls is Zero, designated as Candidate 88, who inadvertently finds himself in the cockpit of the Ingrid Eeva-Leena upon his arrival at GOA. As the synchronization process between pilot and mech is notoriously delicate, many fear that Zero will not survive the experience. However, in a surprising turn of events, he achieves a perfect sync just before losing consciousness. With his training officially underway, Zero embarks on a journey filled with challenges, camaraderie, and the looming threat of the Victim, as he strives to uncover the mysteries of his connection to Eeva-Leena and fulfill his destiny as a pilot.
