Blue Gender

Diagnosed with an incurable illness, Yuuji Kaidou places his hopes in cryogenic sleep, believing he’ll awaken in a time when a cure exists. Instead, he opens his eyes to a ruined world overrun by man-eating creatures, escaping death only when a squad of soldiers arrives in towering combat machines to cut a path through the horrors.

Their commander, Marlene Angel, explains that Earth fell decades earlier to an alien species called BLUE, pushing humanity to the edge of extinction. Struggling to adapt to the brutal reality, Yuuji is drawn into the fight alongside the resistance—only to discover that surviving the war against BLUE will demand far more than resolve if he wants to matter in the battle for mankind’s future.
