The Princess and the Pilot

War has dragged on for years between the Levamme Empire and the Amatsukami Imperium. Amid the stalemate, the Levamme prince announces his intention to marry Juana del Moral—pledging to end the conflict within a year as part of his proposal. The declaration puts Juana in immediate danger, and when Amatsukami forces attack the del Moral home to eliminate her, getting her to safety becomes a matter of urgency.

With conventional routes compromised, the San Maltilia Airforce turns to an outsider: Charles, a mixed-blood mercenary pilot known as a bestado. Tasked with transporting Juana to the Levamme capital in secret, he takes on a flight that demands absolute discretion—and discovers that crossing the ocean alone into enemy-controlled skies is far more perilous than anyone planned.
