The Magnificent Kotobuki

In a harsh, barren frontier where necessities are hard to come by, communities depend on zeppelins to move vital cargo across the wasteland. Keeping those air routes open falls to hired escort teams flying single-engine fighters, forced to contend with pirates and the pressures of political strife as they protect the fragile stability holding the region together.

Kylie, a gifted and fearless pilot, joins one such unit: the Kotobuki Squadron. Brought into the crew by her childhood friend Emma, she quickly proves indispensable thanks to her instinctive skill in the cockpit. Flying Hayabusa fighters as a six-person team, the squadron takes on jobs guarding people and shipments, navigating a world where every flight can turn into a fight.
