Superkid (1983)

Mitsuo’s life takes an extraordinary turn when he crosses paths with an alien named Superman, a member of a cosmic federation dedicated to preserving peace across the universe. Gifted with an incredible helmet that grants him superhuman strength, a magical cape for flight, and a special badge that enables him to breathe underwater and communicate with his newfound allies, Mitsuo embraces his role as a superhero.

However, with great power comes great responsibility; Mitsuo and his fellow young heroes must keep their true identities hidden. To aid in this secrecy, they are provided with doppelganger robots that can impersonate them while they are away, although these replacements are not without their own complications. Together, the young heroes navigate challenges both mundane and extraordinary, striving to protect those in need while juggling the trials of school life and friendships.
