El Hazard: The Magnificent World

When Makoto Mizuhara decides to testify against the overzealous student council president Katsuhiko Jinnai for election misconduct, he becomes the target of Jinnai's frantic attempts to thwart him. In the midst of their chaotic confrontation, time inexplicably freezes for everyone but Makoto. Confused yet curious, he explores the deserted campus and is drawn to a mysterious light emanating from a sealed basement where an ancient relic has recently been discovered.

As Makoto approaches the artifact, a mystical woman emerges, revealing that she has awaited his arrival for ten millennia. Using her dwindling magical energy, she transports him to the enchanting realm of El-Hazard. Unbeknownst to him, Jinnai, their alcoholic teacher Masamichi Fujisawa, and Jinnai's determined sister Nanami are also swept into this otherworldly adventure. In El-Hazard, the four find themselves navigating a landscape filled with whimsical charm, unexpected challenges, and budding romances as they become entwined in the lives of its diverse inhabitants.
