Synopsis
Tortov Roddle, a quiet traveler, wanders through a serene and little-known land, meeting its residents as he goes. Crossing desert stretches from one town to the next atop his long-legged pig, he takes in the landscape with an unhurried eye.
Along the way, Tortov observes the locals’ curious, distinctive customs and everyday habits, recording impressions that often stir memories of his own past.
