Synopsis
Bundled with volumes 6 and 7 of the *Sankarea* manga, *Sankarea OVA* collects two standalone episodes that expand the story beyond the TV timeline. The first is an author-penned prequel, set before the main events, revealing that Rea and Chihiro crossed paths earlier than expected—during an encounter at an outdoor hot-spring bath.
The second episode serves as a post-series follow-up (functioning as an episode 14). After the ending, the Furuya household is unsettled when the family discovers a mysterious young girl hiding beneath their home temple, drawing them into another strange turn of events.
