Encouragement of Climb

As a child, Aoi Yukimura loved the mountains and spent her days climbing. After a playground accident leaves her with a fear of heights, she retreats into indoor hobbies and, by the time she starts high school, has grown so shy and withdrawn that she struggles to connect with classmates.

Everything shifts when she reunites with Hinata Kuraue, a cheerful, impulsive friend from her earlier climbing days. Hinata’s enthusiasm pulls Aoi back onto the trails, and what begins as hesitant steps toward an old pastime gradually becomes a gentle journey of rebuilding confidence—alongside new friendships, fresh challenges, and a renewed desire to climb again.
