Hane Sakura tackles a steep ride to school every morning on her bicycle—until a chance meeting with motorcycle devotee Onsa Amano opens up a new route into the world of bikes. Onsa brings her to the school’s motorcycle club, headed by the famously quiet Raimu Kawasaki, where Sakura—starting from scratch—learns just how challenging it can be to get comfortable on two wheels again. Even so, she can’t help chasing the mix of fear and excitement that made her first biking experience so unforgettable.

With an eccentric group around her—including Baita, a talking motorcycle; Rin Suzunoki, an avid Suzuki fan; Hijiri Minowa, a wealthy girl with dreams of being a delinquent; and pro racer Chisame Nakano—Sakura works toward earning her license and discovering both the fun and the frustrations that come with motorcycles.
