Diary of Our Days at the Breakwater

After moving with her family to a quiet seaside town, Hina Tsurugi looks forward to relaxing by the ocean—until she meets Yuuki Kuroiwa, an upperclassman at her new school who pulls her into a fishing outing. Hina’s first catch is an octopus that lands on her, and her fear of bugs and large creatures sends her into a panic as she begs Yuuki to get it off.

Yuuki takes the moment to rope Hina into the school’s Breakwater Club, where members spend their time catching marine life and cooking what they bring in. Despite Hina’s repeated attempts to decline, she gradually warms to the hobby, finding unexpected enjoyment in fishing and the everyday moments shared with the club.
