Haruhiko Amaumi attends Shimano Academy in the quiet town of Narasakicho, a place watched over by a mysterious rainbow. Locals connect it to “Gift,” a once-in-a-lifetime wish said to be shared between two people—an idea that quietly shapes the town’s atmosphere and the feelings of those who live there.

Growing up, Haruhiko was inseparable from his childhood friend Kirino, until his family took in Riko as a new, non-blood-related sister. Haruhiko and Riko became close, but financial hardship forced them apart when his father could no longer support them. Years later, Riko returns to Narasakicho and enrolls at Shimano Academy alongside Haruhiko and Kirino, setting the stage for shifting relationships and a gradual unveiling of the truth behind the rainbow and the Gift.
