Synopsis

Kirino Kousaka is back in Japan and trying to slip into everyday life with her friends and family, but the homecoming doesn’t smooth things over with her older brother. Even after everything Kyousuke has done for her, Kirino keeps him at arm’s length, leaving him to wonder whether convincing her to give up her track-and-field training in America and return home damaged their bond for good. Adding to his unease is a daring, hard-to-read message from Ruri “Kuroneko” Gokou—his underclassman and one of Kirino’s closest friends.

As the group grows closer, Kyousuke and Kirino find themselves forced to confront what these connections mean and how they want to handle them, gradually coming to terms with their own feelings along the way.
