Middle schooler Mana Aida stands out for her boundless energy and warm, considerate nature—qualities admired by her close friends Rikka Hishikawa and Alice Yotsuba. During a school field trip, their day is disrupted when villains from the Trump Kingdom descend, using people’s selfish desires to spawn towering monsters and spread chaos.

Amid the confusion, Mana crosses paths with Cure Sword, a lone and enigmatic Precure already fighting back. Guided by Cure Sword’s fairy companions, Mana learns she can become a warrior too; when the invaders begin to overwhelm Cure Sword, she joins the battle by partnering with the fairy Sharuru and transforming into Cure Heart, the Precure of Love. Mana’s determination soon draws Rikka and Alice into the conflict as well, each bonding with a fairy to become Cure Diamond and Cure Rosetta, and together they stand against the Trump Kingdom to keep the world’s love from being extinguished.
