Twenty-two years after an unexplained environmental upheaval tore through Kanazawa Prefecture, the terrain thrust upward into towering formations and became an isolated region known as the Lost Ground. Kazuma is among the rare Alter Users, able to coat his right arm and torso in a metallic alloy. His path collides with HOLY, an organization dedicated to suppressing and capturing those they label Native Alter Users, and with HOLY’s elite member Ryuho—setting the stage for a fierce, escalating rivalry.
