Space Pirate Captain Harlock

Humanity has already claimed the galaxy—and in the aftermath, begins to wither. As the universe’s resources run thin, roughly 500 billion people turn back toward Earth, igniting conflict among human factions vying for the planet. Out of the chaos rises the Gaia Sanction, an authoritarian regime that ultimately blocks Earth from being repopulated.

Once an ace of the Gaia Sanction’s Elite Wing, Captain Harlock led an unstoppable fleet in Earth’s defense—until the regime’s decision to grant select diplomatic elites passage to the planet pushes him into open rebellion. Turning his guns on the envoys and his own forces, Harlock attempts to render Earth uninhabitable by unleashing dark matter, only to be consumed by it and made immortal.

A century later, the legend remains: Harlock is still at large, commanding only the Arcadia. As the Gaia Sanction presses forward with its grip on Earth while concealing the planet’s true condition, Harlock moves toward a final confrontation that will decide the world’s fate.
