Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV

The Niflheim Empire has spent years warring with the kingdom of Lucis, conquering much of Eos while seeking the last known Crystal—kept within Lucis’s capital, Insomnia. To shield his people from the empire’s advance, King Regis Lucis Caelum CXIII channels the Crystal’s power to raise a magical barrier around the city and forms an elite unit, the Kingsglaive. Empowered through the king, they hold the borders against Niflheim and any other threats.

Among them is Nyx, a fighter dubbed “The Hero” by his comrades for his swagger and relentless urge to save everyone. When that pride drives him to ignore his captain’s orders, he’s demoted to gate duty—until news spreads that Regis intends to sign a peace treaty with their longtime enemy, and the balance protecting Insomnia begins to shift.
