Deltora Quest

Long ago, the blacksmith Adin forged the Belt of Deltora, setting seven gems—one representing each of the land’s seven tribes—into a single powerful relic. With it, he turned back the Shadow Lord’s bid to seize the kingdom and was crowned king, even as he knew the threat had not truly vanished.

Centuries later, the Shadow Lord returns, shattering the belt by scattering its gems across the continent and toppling Deltora’s rule. Jarred, loyal to the young king Endon, helps the royal couple escape into hiding as darkness settles over the realm. Under the Shadow Lord’s harsh reign, hope rests on Jarred’s son, Lief, raised and trained to recover the lost gemstones. Joined by Barda and Jasmine, Lief sets out on a perilous journey against ruthless foes and deadly creatures to restore the Belt of Deltora and free the kingdom.
