Synopsis
Hachiman Hikigaya starts the day mulling over how marriage can feel like a hollow ideal dressed up as happiness. His cynicism gets put to the test when the Volunteer Service Club is asked to help a local municipal magazine promote the appeal of marriage to younger readers.
The assignment quickly turns awkward: advisor Shizuka Hiratsuka and the club members have no firsthand knowledge to draw on, and the deadline is only a week away. With time running short, they scramble to piece together what a wedding really involves—leaning on whatever research and creative problem-solving they can manage to get the feature finished.
