Pupa

Abused and left to fend for themselves, siblings Utsutsu and Yume Hasegawa cling to each other as their only family. Their fragile routine begins to unravel when striking red butterflies appear, quietly signaling the approach of something far worse: a mysterious virus called Pupa.

When Pupa takes hold, Yume is transformed into a grotesque being driven by an overwhelming craving for human flesh, while Utsutsu is affected differently—left with extraordinary regenerative abilities. Bound by a promise he made long ago, Utsutsu throws himself into a desperate struggle to stay by his sister’s side, even as her hunger threatens everyone around them.
