Macross Zero

Set a year before the Zentraedi make contact with Earth, *Macross Zero* follows the closing stage of the conflict between the U.N. Spacy and anti-U.N. forces. Ace pilot Shin Kudo is shot down by the opposition’s latest fighter and washes up on the isolated Mayan Island, a place largely untouched by modern technology.

As Shin recovers among the island’s quiet routines, the war reaches even this distant shore. The calm is broken when fighting erupts around the U.N.’s newest variable fighter, the VF-0, pulling Mayan Island into the battle’s widening orbit.
