Super Dimension Fortress Macross

A mysterious alien craft crashes on Earth, forcing humanity to confront the reality that it isn’t alone. With fear of a larger threat looming, nations set aside their rivalries to unite under the United Nations and refit the recovered ship as the SDF-1 Macross. On the day of its first launch, a fleet from the Zentradi arrives—and the Macross fires on the intruders, igniting a war that reaches far beyond Earth.

Trying to flee the attack, the Macross attempts to jump to lunar orbit, only to be catastrophically displaced to deep space along with the city surrounding it. Among those swept into the conflict are Hikaru Ichijou, a daring stunt pilot, and Lynn Minmay, a young woman chasing a dream of becoming a singer. As the crew fights to survive and find a way home, their journey is shaped by loss, strained loyalties, and the harsh realities of life in wartime.
