Natsume’s Book of Friends: On a Certain Snowy Day

As the season’s first snow begins to fall, Takashi Natsume enjoys the quiet chill of a winter day while Nyanko-sensei naps nearby. With a warm meal being prepared at home, Natsume heads out for a calm walk, taking in the hush that settles over the town.

The peaceful outing takes an unexpected turn when he encounters a small snowman yōkai—white and fluffy, with striking black eyes—wandering in search of something “warm and sparkly.” With little else to go on, Natsume chooses to help the spirit track down what it’s looking for, turning a simple snowy stroll into a gentle supernatural errand.
