In Search of the Lost Future

Kaori Sasaki of Uchihama Academy’s Astronomy Club finally confesses her feelings to Sou Akiyama—only to be killed later that night in a sudden traffic accident. As the club gathers at the hospital to grieve, reality seems to twist: Kaori appears at school the next day as if nothing happened, and no one around her notices anything strange.

Life continues toward the upcoming cultural festival until an unnatural earthquake jolts the campus. While the others scatter to investigate, Nagisa Hanamiya remains behind and watches a mysterious, cube-like object begin to glow an eerie blue. Elsewhere, Sou encounters an unconscious, naked girl lying in water—an incident that pulls the Astronomy Club into a chain of increasingly unsettling events.

Ushinawareta Mirai wo Motomete follows the club as they face a string of odd disturbances, from ghostly encounters to clashes between student groups, all while searching for answers about the girl’s sudden appearance and what it means for the future they thought they knew.
