Six months after being stranded inside the MMORPG Elder Tale, Shiroe and fellow Adventurers have started to adapt to life in their unfamiliar reality. In Akiba, cooperation with the People of the Land has grown, and the city has regained a sense of everyday bustle under the stability created by Shiroe’s Round Table Alliance. Yet success brings new pressure: the Alliance’s coffers are dwindling, and agents from the Minami district have slipped into the city.

With powerful players moving in other regions and too many questions still unanswered about the world they now inhabit, Shiroe decides it’s time to look beyond Akiba’s walls. Joined by his longtime ally Naotsugu and Regan, the Sage of Mirror Lake, he sets out to learn more about the land—and to search for a path that could one day lead them home.
