Synopsis
After transferring to Moriwaki Elementary, piano prodigy Shuuhei Amamiya quickly draws attention—along with the cruelty of bully Daigaku Kanehira. A taunt sends Shuuhei into the nearby woods in search of a “cursed” piano, where he instead encounters Kai Ichinose, a troubled boy from the rough side of town who insists the instrument belongs to him and that he alone can play it.
Curious, Shuuhei follows Kai to the hidden piano and hears an unexpectedly moving performance. The encounter earns Kai the admiration of both Shuuhei and the school’s music teacher, Sousuke Ajino, setting Kai on a path from raw, instinctive talent toward formal piano training.
