Mushi-Shi: The Next Chapter - Drops of Bells

On a quiet summer day, a young boy named Yoshiro hears bell-like chimes echoing from the mountain near his home, as if someone were celebrating. Years later, mushishi Ginko returns to that same mountain and comes upon an unsettling sight: a girl with weeds sprouting from her body. Not long after, he crosses paths with an older Yoshiro as he descends the mountain, and the two begin to piece together what the strange encounter could mean.

With Yoshiro’s help, Ginko investigates the identity of the enigmatic Kaya and the events that led her to the mountain that now shelters her. Adapting the final arc of the manga, *Mushishi Zoku Shou: Suzu no Shizuku* follows Ginko through a hushed, otherworldly mystery shaped by the presence of mushi and the lingering sound of bells.
