Synopsis
Princess Di Gi Charat—Dejiko—arrives on Earth from the planet Di Gi Charat with grand dreams of becoming a star, only to run headfirst into a far more basic problem: she’s broke. Learning quickly that ambition doesn’t pay the bills, she sets out to improve her fortunes by any means she can manage.
Joined by her pint-sized companion Petit Charat (Puchiko), her steadfast guardian Gema, and her ever-rivalrous coworker Hikaru Usada, Dejiko tackles the daily grind of retail work with a string of offbeat schemes. The result is a rapid-fire mix of sci-fi fantasy silliness and surprisingly familiar workplace frustrations, played out through surreal gags and everyday struggles.
