Patlabor: The Mobile Police - The TV Series

In a near future where towering robots known as “labors” have become everyday tools for construction, emergency response, the military, and more, new kinds of crime follow close behind. A machine may be neutral, but the people who operate them aren’t—and a misused labor can turn into a serious threat in an instant.

To meet that danger, the police deploy their own patrol labors, or “patlabors,” and assign them to the Second Special Vehicles Division. Made up of an eclectic mix of officers, the unit tackles labor-related incidents while juggling the routines and frustrations of life on the job, trying to keep the peace without losing their sense of normalcy.
